Chair's Welcome

Jane rogers

As chair of Endeavour Academy Trust I lead the board of trustees that forms the strategic vision of the trust and ensures that the trust complies with all statutory and governance requirements.

It goes without saying that the trust has to comply with the legal requirements for Academies. Governance is also important to ensure that the trust makes decisions which are transparent and accountable. However the most important responsibility that the trust has is to use its powers in such a way that pupils receive the best education available within our community and the money entrusted in us by Parliament is properly managed.

Being a board trustee is a voluntary role and trustees come from a wide range of backgrounds.  They are recruited largely by reference to the skills they can offer. If you would be interested in joining the board, I should be very pleased to hear from you and can be contacted on: jane.rogers@endeavouracademytrust.org.uk.
