Charlton Wood Primary Academy

Head Teacher’s Welcome

N lankester2Thank you for taking the time to find out more information about our brand new school set in the heart of a new and growing community. We will open in September 2019 to Reception and Year One pupils as a two-form entry primary school, growing by a year group annually until Year 6.

At Charlton Wood Primary Academy, we understand that every child is unique and bursting with limitless potential. Every family who joins us will be included as part of a determined team, striving to achieve their very best. Working in close partnership with our community, we will work relentlessly and creatively to equip and educate your child with the knowledge, skills and understanding for endless opportunities in learning and life. We will achieve this by having the highest expectations of ourselves and our children – your child is important to us and we believe that they should have an outstanding start to their life.

Ambition and a culture of success through academic excellence will lie at the core of our curriculum, consequently all children will achieve the very highest outcomes in reading writing and maths by the time they leave us in Year 6. This will be complimented by outstanding teaching of sports and the arts to ensure that your child has a rounded education and is given the opportunity to reach their full potential in our diverse and rapidly changing world.
